The beer glass image on the recipe screen provides an approximation of the color that your formulated beer will be when viewed in good light. Color is a product of the batch size, quantity of grains and extracts, and the color rating for each grain or adjunct in your recipe. Color is often measured as SRM, or standard reference measurement, with appropriate color values for each beer style as indicated in the Beer Judge Certification Program Style Guidelines.
