Attenuation is the degree to which available fermentable sugars are converted to [[CO2]] and [[alcohol]]. The %Atten. tab calculates both [[Real Attenuation|real]] and [[Apparent Attenuation|apparent attenuation]], [[ABV|alcohol by volume]] and [[ABW|weight]] using the [[Original Gravity|original]] and [[Terminal Gravity|terminal gravity]] readings.

Attenuation is the degree to which available fermentable sugars are converted to CO2 and alcohol. The %Atten. tab calculates both real and apparent attenuation, alcohol by volume and weight using the original and terminal gravity readings.
